Mmmm, bread.

1 1kg bag of Allinson's strong white softgrain flour
450ml warm milk
450ml warm water
75ml olive oil
25g dried yeast
25g sugar
15g salt
A handful or two of mixed sesame, poppy and white mustard seeds.

Preheat the oven to Gas 7.

Put the flour in the bowl, add the seeds and the salt, mix. Dissolve the sugar in the water, add the yeast, stir, wait for it to fizz up properly. Pour the liquids into the flour, mix to make a sloppy dough. Leave 30 minutes. Knead until springy. Divide into two equal lumps, form into rough loaf-shapes, and put on a lightly-oiled baking tray. Turn the oven down to 6, and put the tray in at the middle. Bake for around 35 minutes - you know your oven better than I do.

Two lovely loaves. Heavenly.
