  • Mood:

Am back from Firebolt, which

was exceedingly good. I was also exceedingly virtuous in that I did not sleepily grope malachan despite his cosy proximity sandwiched between me and kazzik.

No dick, but much satay, and the brutal ravishment of several innocents' vanilla Coke virginities. Fun at the market, where I bought only three secondhand books:

1) 101 Unuseless Japanese Inventions
2) All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten
3) Memory in the Cerebral Cortex: An Empirical Approach to Neural Networks in the Human and Nonhuman Primate

Also bought: two bottles of absolutely lifesaving organic apple juice.

Also ogled: The Man in the Bouncy Castle, who is not a Dick book, but certainly made at least one of those present think of Dick, oh yes.

And then to the farm where Alex was revealed as a Chickenmouth by holding conversations with some hens, and we looked at rabbits and sheep and a splendid Eagle Owl.

Then, alas, I had to come home, and the train journey was crap, but here I am, safe and home and much loved. I'll be making Jus his tomorrow lunch and then falling into bed... I may surface some time, but not necessarily any time soon.
