Bank, grrr...

Called up, they verified who I am, and told me I have quite enough money in my account, never mind available credit, for my Saturday purchase to have gone through. But the woman to whom I spoke couldn't tell me what the problem was, so she handed me on to my business account manager - it seems that when one has both a personal and a business account, one's dealt with by their business accounts centre, regardless. The guy I spoke to was very pleasant, but he couldn't see what problem there might be, so he suggested I give him my phone number and he'd call me back. True to his word, he did, but only to say that he'd spoken with my local branch, and they had said that it was a local issue, and that I'd need to go and see them.

That's a trip into Coventry tomorrow, then. Grrrrr. Goodness knows what they're playing at.

Still, I now have a GP appointment for Wednesday morning to get my arm looked at.
