That's another thousand words in...

and mostly in good shape, though I think that tiredness is beginning to tell at the end. I certainly haven't been lazy today, and I've done my best to ignore any distractions as much as possible.

I think that I'll leave it to ferment for a while, though I'll definitely be working up some more rough stuff when I can snatch odd moments this weekend. I like the way that it's going, and, thanks to a technical discussion with mrph on Tuesday, I know that the enabling technology that I've used isn't a canonbuster. Maybe I'll sit down with the books and work out what it would take to build one for the Amber RPG. Not that I'd actually have a use for the thing right now, but...

You know, I really am being amazingly disciplined. There have been nine books sitting by me crying "Read me! read me!" all day long - and I've worked instead.

I wish that Jus would come home. I fancy some supper.
