Bonsai kittens

I don't know if any of you have already seen the bonsai kittens website, but I just found it, thanks to heidi8.

It struck me that their idea, coupled with this one, could provide a stunning conversation piece, so I sent them this mail:

What you are doing is a true art form.

I know that many mathematicians are extremely fond of cats, and I think you might get many of them interested if you could use one of Acme's cunningly-made glass Klein bottles as a container. Since these fascinating objects are closed non-orientable two-dimensional differentiable manifolds, such a bonsai kitten would be simultaneously inside and outside the container, a joyful paradox of freedom and security.

It's amazing what you can find on the Web, isn't it? ;)
