Two gingers sesame chicken

Take a couple of boneless skinned chicken breasts. Cut into biggish cubes.
Chop three shallots fairly finely.
Sear the chicken in a very little oil until thoroughly browned.
Add the shallots.
Shred a handful of candied ginger and add to the meat.
Fry on a good heat until it all browns.
Add a jar of Sharwood's sesame paste and a level teaspoonful of powdered ginger.
Stir, adding a little water if too thick, and simmer for a couple of minutes.

Serve with thick noodles.

That's what I cooked as a throw-together last night for Justin's lunch. There's plenty left over, and it smells and tastes delicious; the only problem is that as the depression settles in, I just don't feel at all like eating.

Wonky neurochemistry, eh?
