The guttering repair is about two-thirds done; we broke off when it started to grow dark and Justin tired on Saturday afternoon, intending to resume on Sunday. Unfortunately the wind had got up when we'd got up, and it didn't seem sensible for Jus to be perched on a ladder and manipulating lengths of plastic guttering against the wind. We'll try to finish it off this weekend.
A very good Amber game on Monday evening. Things are converging in what I fear will be a rather unpleasant climax. I may be meeting mrph tomorrow lunchtime to draw up my Orcish Bard (heh) character for the D&D game that'll be starting soon.
Yesterday was miserably cold and rainy, which made going into town and doing a little necessary shopping less enjoyable than it ought to have been. I spent the afternoon with Dave and Tina, then they went off with Joe to the cinema and I looked after the little ones, who as usual were no problem at all.
Today I'm fixing a BJOT paper for Katherine, and Jus and I may be going to the pub to meet the usual people this evening if he isn't too tired after work. Then I'm either going to do a bit more writing (I've had a small idea storm), get in touch with Ev about some RP we need to do, or to investigate poodles & flan a little more.
Too much bad stuff is happening to too many good people, and I really wish it wouldn't. All I can do is wish them well and hope that they can get through their various shit storms as well as possible.
Now I must work!
