In case anyone thought I might have been in London

I wasn't. I thought I'd better say that since I just got a call from mattp asking if I was OK. I didn't actually have the radio on to hear the news yesterday, because I was doing the flat on my back thing, with my nose buried in Jenny Uglow's wonderful The Lunar Men. Some books I can read with background radio, and some I can't, and this is one of the latter.

Edited: Matt mentioned london_070705, a community for people to check in to and say they're OK, so I've posted there to let anyone else know that I'm safe and well.

The back's getting less sore each day, which is good. I'm not sure how much good the treatment's done, and probably won't be for another week or two, but at least it doesn't seem to have done any obvious harm :)

Anyway, I have to go to see my lovely dentist once again, so I'll love you and leave you.
