So I got through to the Caludon Centre at last and spoke to Dr Morby's secretary. (Dr Morby is the team leader; I don't get to see her, since she's Important.)
I now have an appointment to fix last week's fuckup with my venlafaxine dosage at 10.45 on the 15th, my birthday. Well, that's one way to spend one's birthday, I suppose.
And now I know how to spell my new shrinklet's name: it's Dr Karir, pronounced "Korea" if one doesn't sound one's terminal r. So she's not Dr Chorea; just as well, really. *twitch*
I also have a nice new sugar thermometer for my candying experiments. Would you believe that it seems impossible to get hold of couverture in Coventry? Neither of the cake-decorating-and-sugarcraft shops stock it. I've found a postal supplier of what looks to be very decent stuff, though, which I'll use as a fallback if I can't find anywhere that I can get to physically.
