Help needed: Middle French pronunciation.
Does anyone have, or know where I could find, a guide to pronouncing Northern Middle French of about 1500? I want to make some HA renderings of Josquin's music (particularly La déploration ("Nymphes des bois, déesses des fontaines...") and I really don't know enough to be able to do a good job of it.
A helpful person on renaissancemuse has pointed me at Singing Early Music by McGee, Rigg and Klausner, and it does indeed look useful, but it'll be a while before I can get my hands on a copy, so Web-based or other grabbable information would be particularly handy.
