UNCLE!

Oh yes, I knew there was something else that I was going to mention.

There's a rather good article about J P Martin's Uncle books in The Economist this week, and hurrah, it's available online here.

I remember these books from when I was a little'un, and I wish they could be reprinted. Yes, perhaps small children won't get all the jokes, because the humour can be quite sophisticated, but that has never stopped the Alice books selling, has it? And they're illustrated by Quentin Blake!

If anyone happens to have any of the Uncle books lying around unread and unappreciated, you know someone who'd love them :)
