At least there weren't any in Tesco today. By dots I mean small, adhesive discs of paper, usually in different colours, and often used at BiCons for quite innocent purposes, honestly...
I'll get some in town on Tuesday. But I was surprised that they didn't have any.
I've spent a quiet afternoon and evening decuntifying Wikipedia, and who should I run into on there while doing so but my pal (and some of yours) from the long-ago days of soc.bi Matthew Brown (or Morven, as more people will probably remember him)? He's now living in California, and seems to be doing well; it's always good to see old friends again, even if it's only on a WP User Talk page.
What I really wanted to ask you all was whether you happened to know, or had any way of finding out reliably[1], what the mascot of the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux actually is. I ask because I'm pretty sure that it's not une choune, which so far as I've been able to determine means Vulve, partie génitale de la femme, unless there's some linguistic subtlety involved of which I'm unaware.
Any help gratefully received, as they say.
[1] In other words, not by looking in Wikipedia or its derivatives, because they're the polluted fount in this case.
