Woah, large day!
Mostly indulging in the Mass Meal, which was excellent - I'd be hard pressed to say which of the dishes that people made was my favourite, but the peaches in port syrup and whisky ice-cream has to be near the top of the list. And the black rice pudding. And the beef and orange stew.
Much eating (we are now all oblate spheroids, I think), much drinking (not so much by me), much getting of Andrew to lose The Game... all good fun.
And then off (later than planned, oblateness rather than fashionable Ob. Lateness) to emperor and atreic's housewarming, which was full of fun and good people and dodgy karaoke and geekery.
Now we're home, happy and weary. A nice cup of tea and a sit down, some needed drugs and then I rather think that it's bed for me.
Definitely a day to remember with gladness when things are not so good.
