Health updates

I've just called home, and Dad's out of bed and feeling better. He's still sounding quite bronchial, but we were able to have a couple of minutes' talk. Thank you for all your good wishes for him.

I'm still full of cold, but not feeling so awful today. I've occupied my time reading a very good biography of Paracelsus by Philip Ball. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone with an interest in Renaissance natural philosophy.
