I remembered the noodles, but not the Leeds connexion. "Why?" I asked. "Did you want some?"
Mum would indeed like alphabet noodles for her soup, so I said I'd try to find some for her.
These are the little vermicelli-thickness pasta letters, similar to those in Heinz's Alphabetti Spaghetti™, not the big chunky pasta letters from Annabel Karmel or similar.
O wise readers, do any of you know a UK source for ickle pasta letters?
ETA: (since
ciphergoth seems to have been confused by the original post) what I'm after is the dried pasta letters, not the already-in-sauce-in-tins kind.
