World Mental Health Day

If you didn't already know, the tenth of October each year is World Mental Health Day.

The interviews that the Coventry Telegraph, our local newspaper, did with me and Joanne (another AMI TalkBank volunteer) a few weeks ago were printed in today's edition. You won't get to see the photo of me, but you can read the text of the interviews here.

I also went over to Leamington for the opening of the Open Up! exhibition at the Old Library. The works in the exhibition are really very good and admission is free so, if you can get there before the end of the month, do give it a visit. I'm not saying this just because I have two photographs on display there, honestly!

It's been a hectic week - meetings or volunteering on every day - so I think I'm just going to veg out this weekend and recuperate. Next week should be less busy, thank goodness!
