Epic Pooh

Ever come across a piece of writing which conforms so splendidly with your prejudices that you feel a strong urge to applaud at the close of every paragraph and, having finished reading, wish that you could stand the writer several drinks in an excellent pub?

I've just found one of those. Michael Moorcock's the author, and the piece - "Epic Pooh" - is a cultivated scathe against some of my least favourite writers.

I commend it heartily to you all: go and read it now.
