Yeeesh.

Hemiola. Is that just "two measures of triple time against three of duple", or can it be used of more complex/extended polymetric structures?

I'm busy marking up a passage (see this entry's Music) that's 9 measures of 4/4 in the cantus against 12 measures of 3/4 in the upper two voices, and since MA doesn't let you notate polymeter directly, I'm using a LCM notation meter (12/4) and indicating the stresses with colour; that's easy enough (ha!) - all I want to know is what term I should use when describing this in the annotations.
